Hey Everyone,
I am back.  I will be right back.  I have to get something in the kitchen.

Hugs,
Trish

Good Morning OFF Family,
I missed all of you so much during my computer-less time.  My son tried to repair it, and it would have cost almost as much as I paid for it, plus it would have taken two to three weeks at that.  I invested in an Asus "bad ass" laptop, as my son calls it.

My Munchkins have been in town for the past two weeks, and it has been a blast.  We are all heading to Frederick, Maryland today to attend my sis-in-law's wedding.  This is a bittersweet occasion, as she is my older brother's widow, and I never got to attend their wedding due to geography at the time.

It has been a stressful time, seeing my ex several times, and Mom is in town as well.  I did have fun when I took my son, daughter and granddaughter to a Phillies game on Sunday, especially when they beat the Braves 14-1.  It was Izzy's first Phillies game, and I promised to take her to more.

I will check in at the hotel in Maryland.

Love you all.  Thanks for caring about me.

Hugs,
Trish

Good morning Trish and everyone.....

Trish have a great time at the wedding....it may be bitter sweet but I hope you can enjoy yourself. Sorry you have so much stress at this time. I am keeping you in my prayers!

Nothing much happening here. Laundry and cleaning day...ugh!! Got the A/C on as it is supposed to be in the 90s and very high humidity. When I do those chores I need to keep cool!
Amanda goes back to MN on Sunday....she will be missed. She has helped me so much with Grace

My insurance agent called yesterday....they really messed up my insurance here in Iowa. I had an additional $278 taken out of my checking account yeserday...bummer...as I had to get brakes, rotors and 4 tires this month. I am now down to $17.11 for the rest of the month. I will not get to take my long weekend to MN at the end of the month...can't afford the gas. Guess God has other plans....I am more then a little bummed!! Sure hope Obama doesn't decide to not pay Social Security in August as he is planning!! I won't be the only one without money. At least I have a home to live in!

Wishing you all a great day. Many prayers going out today.

Love and hugs to all....connie d

Hi Trish and OFF family,
Posting late today on the daily forum. Was really busy at work but I got it all done and looking forward to going to the gym after work again.

Plans for this weekend:
Hubby is helping his daughter and SIL put up a privacy fence. I get to watch Holly so I'll take her for a stroller ride. I also plan to ride my bike over to their house...about a 5 mile ride there. So bike ride tomorrow and walking planned. Will show off my youngest granddaughter proudly when I walk her around the little town of Hopkins.

Sunday will be hot and muggy but it's going to church then over to other daughter's house to celebrate Remi's and Loulabelle's birthday. Got my shopping done so I'm good to go!
Hubby will make his famous pork-n-beans with ground beef in it. They plan on serving hot dogs and hamburgers. I'll take mine without the bun and get the beans! I plan on making a fresh fruit plate so I won't go for the cake and ice cream.

Oh, when I went shopping yesterday I brought me a cool "noodle" so I can work out in my pool with situps and arms. Now I just have to keep the grandkids away from grandma's toy! LOL

Hugs and prayers for all in need. My BF here at work, her brother was killed on Saturday in GR riding his bike at the crosswalk and going on the bike trails. She is heart-broken. Next week I'll just have to surround her with love. Hugs Debbie

Glad you're back Trish. Gee, we have two threads today. Two for Friday (doesn't sound as good as two for Tuesday, does it?)

I was busy last night at work, doing two sports sections and helping out our newbie. Poor girl, looks lost. I remember the feeling. They don't do a lot of training here, just throw you in the deep end and see if you can swim. Got home in time to see the Giants tie the Padres (in those ugly old uniforms) and watch the extra innings. No White Sox game on yesterday.

Anyway, back to work tonight. Not much else happening. Have a good one.

Afternoon Trish, glad to have you back. Sounds like you are enjoying your time with the kids. I always said being a grandma is Gods reward for living a long time!

Please don't stress about the upcoming wedding. It will happen weather you stress or not. Just enjoy the party & phoey on those you don't want to see!!

Well I posted on the other thread so I won't bore you all here.
Have a great day all.

I had a really tough week.  I was traveling again for work, this time to Puerto Rico.  What can be so tough about that???

I had issues arise at work,  was not able to eat according to my pre-plan and got very little sleep, so of course, I overate, and what I did eat was not beneficial.....

Today I'm working on getting back on track - I really need to get my act together so the surgery will be a long term success.

I know everyone has already been there - otherwise we won't have required surgery, but today I'm struggling with my weaknesses.
