Drumroll, please!

I have a surgery date! I saw the surgeon yesterday on the way back from vacation and they have scheduled me for August 29th. It seems far away, but I am sure it will come faster than I think. I am very excited.

Vacation was great. Our family goes to a place near San Diego every year called Crystal Pier. It is a hotel with cottages actually on the pier so you are sleeping over the ocean. We have 6 cottages and various family groupings are in each one. We eat together at night and have a really great time.

Tomorrow I am back in the grind, but now I know I have a surgery date!

     It's wonderful that you have your surgery date!!!!!! Time really does fly by.
    Some friends and I have always wanted to stay on Crystal Pier. They seem to always have the 1st 2 cottages open over the sandy beach. We want to sleep over the water too. Maybe some day. We used to stay at Pacific Terrace but I couldn't make it up and down all those steps. Did love watching the sun set. I wanted to be on the beach so now we go to what used to be the Best Western. ( but now owned by another company.) It's just a matter of feet to the ocean.

Sharon your vacation sounds delightful and you are right, your surgery date will be here before you know it!!! Now to mentally prepare yourself for what will hopefully be a healthier and even more active lifestyle once you have lost weight!
