TGIF Everyone. . .

Because I was off on Monday past and had no computer access until Monday evening I did not bother with the post, but this is how I am combating my regain. . .

By making healthy food choices
Taking all my vitamin supplements
Drinking all my fluids
Spending a total of 165 minutes in the gym so far this week
Participating in support

I am feeling good, while the scale seems stalled, I have seen some difference in my clothes and my blood pressure was a cool 110 over 80, so I am feeling optimistic and will continue to fight the good fight.

Looking forward to my weekend, hope you are doing and living well.

Laureen

Wow Laureen. That is impressive!! Good for you. I need to improve everything right now.
Doing some emotional eating. I think I know why. Have to tell myself that it is not the way to handle this.  Thanks,   Mag

Love and blessings coming your way ...reach out and recieve my heartfelt hug   Find something you CAN eat lots off... now I am not well versed in these things as yet...but, celery/tuna/ lite mayo?    Crunching is very soothing to emotional eating   celery and some string cheese and black olives?  I love this snack
Can you have apples? With some peanut butter?  And, of course....excercise...that you enjoy  Will leave you now with one of these Sam

Sam,

Thanks so much for your reply. Your suggestions are great. My sister went shopping yesterday and came home with only healthy food. She is such a big help and support for me. Apples with peanut butter, Yum, I'll have that for my next snack. Your hugs feel really good. I really appreciate you.    Mag

Laureen...Happy Monday now, didn't see your post til this morning.

How I'm combating regain or trying to get the pounds off:
Replaced my breakfast with a Protein drink (EAS drinks 110 calories and 17 gms of protein)
Eating 3 fresh fruits a day
Taking all my water and vitamins
Eating a WW meal at lunchtime here at work.
For dinner: chicken, fish or beef and a salad.
My scale is the same when I do weigh so I stay off the scale, it's not my friend. The weight will come off and I do need to walk more!
No excuses...I'm just doing it.

Aww Debbie,

I do hear you with regards to that nonfriendly scale, I have made up my mind that I will no longer turn my will and life over to it's power, but instead, by making better choices and getting to the gym regularly the story will unfold and I am seeing results in how my clothes fit.  Like you, no more excuses, I've certainly got a lifetime of them, which is what got me to this place to begin with and so I am free of them and am just doing what needs doing. . .

Amen Laureen!
We will just keep on keeping on and doing!
You have a great day, I'm getting ready to take a break and go outside for a mile walk.
Later on it's the pool for me.
