Received the most beautiful Christmas arrangement with red & white roses from my new friend.... I told him I felt like he was seriously courting me ....and he said "I AM".
He plans to come for Christmas provided the weather stays good...so looking forward
to finally meeting him face to face.
My heart goes out to all of you facing health issues and other life challenges...you know you are always in my thoughts and prayers even tho' I don't post on here often.

I'm late getting on here this morning, and there's so much going on today. I'll just have to say that I read each post and send good thoughts and prayers to each of you today. Especially to Susan and Gary!
My third morning in Waco and I'm being a totally lazy slug-a-bed today. Still in my jammies, still in bed. It's rainy and cold and I can't think of a reason to get up. Carrie left for school a while ago, so it's just me and the pups.
I had a good time with Carrie and some of her friends last night. I met them at one of their favorite hangouts, The Dancing Bear Pub. Just a hole in the wall, really, with about 100 different kinds of beer. Thankfully they had a very nice Riesling wine, and I had a glass of that. We play Trivia Pursuit. OMG. That was hard! I didn't begin to know the answer to most of the questions. But it was fun. Then I took Carrie and 3 of her gal pals out to eat. We went to another local establishment, George's, which was not very fancy, but it was their pick. I had the grilled shrimp. The girls all had everything from fried pickles to hamburger basket to catfish special. See the theme here? Fried, fried and more fried. I was lucky to find the grilled shrimp on the menu, I think.
I did find three new sweaters at the resale shop yesterday afternoon. I was very pleased with my finds. One of them still had the tags on it. Brand new. I posted a pic of me and Carrie on FB if you want to see my new orange shrug. I like it very much. It is from Chico's and less than half price! Woot!
Don't know what I'll do today. I'll just see what hits me. Hope you all are having a fabulous hump day! Love you all!

It's busy day at work so I'm going to write and run. Nothing new here except the weather is in the 50's and it's been raining all day long. Tomorrow the cold is suppose to rear it's ugly head.

Had a great day today doing things and also recieving gifts!!! Yup got a coupe Christmas gifts from people here!! Cookies, candy and a Christmas Cactus in bloom!!! How nice!!!
Showed my first apartment today. Lady loved it and is now filling out her paperwork for me to send in for checking her out. Hope she gets approved because she seems like a very nice lady!!
Had our business cards made today and pick them up tomorrow. We will be OFFICIAL now!! LOL Alos got a great deal on copy paper...buy one case get one free!!! Saved just about $50 on that deal!!! :-)
Well its time to find some food because I am now starving!!!
