Tuesday What's Happening?

Oh, okay, I see.  Well, just stay on top of them.  We moved with Bekins one time when I was still pretty young (mid-20's) and Butch was in South America at the time, so it was just me and the two babies.  I was so dumb.  I just assumed the movers knew what they were doing and would do it right.  Ha!  Not only did they break things (from improper packaging), someone stole my husband's good fishing rods.  I just didn't know how to supervise anyone and was probably too shy to speak up anyway.  Long time ago.

I wish I could come and help you pack up.  That's a big job to tackle on your own.

Just as a side note: my washer just sprung a leak this morning!  Water all over the damn floor.  Oy vey!  But I got lucky.  I called Sears and they can come on Thursday morning, so at least I'll have it fixed before Christmas. 

Good luck with your move, Eileen!  I know it's stressful, but it's going to be such a good move for you.  I'm so happy you got this new job.

Been a very busy day for me. I had an appointment with my therapist. We had a long conversation! She feels that I am being taken advantage of and thinks for my well being I should seriously think of moving out. She was in awe at all the things happening around here. 

My granddaughter Kyleigh decided she doesn't want to come here for Christmas after all. She said she has friends to be with. She so much as said it is because of my daughter, Jamie, and how she is acting and treating me. Just Great!! That makes it so much better...UGH!

This afternoon I took Grace to the  library. We picked out movies, books and puppets. She spent over an hour playing with new friends.

After Nic gets off work at 6:00 we are going to finish up our Christmas shopping. We will have dinner out somewhere. That will be fun.

Connie, I'm glad you are listening to your therapist, sometimes you gotta just step back and evaluate the situation. Yep, family can take advantage of us IF we let them. I'm glad your having fun with Grace, I always loved going to the library and still do.

So today I went shopping before going to work. Got some great buys. Bought hubby a new watch and I had to do some Birthday shopping for my little Holly who will turn one on Dec. 26th. Got Holly 3 pkgs. of onesies (mom's request) and I got her an outfit and Sesame Street tennis shoes that were on the Sale rack at Marshalls. Then I bought me some Philosophy body wash/shampoo...love that stuff. Then I still had some time b/4 going to work and stopped at the resale store and scored there too...got a beautiful Christmas platter and an angel tree topper half off, what a steal! Then found a 3 piece outfit all sparkly a beautiful blue (tank top, over coat thingy and pants) never been worn, had original price tag of 258.00 and got it for 28.00 plus all the money goes to the American Cancer Society. Adopt clothes and help out with the AMC!

I'm having a hard time with all this food/sweets hanging around my house and here at work. I'm surrounded by food!! UGH!!! Today I sat in my hot tub this morning thinking...practice Mindful Eating today...just do the best you can. And...Friday we have another family Christmas get together. I will stay away from the food table! LOL
If I hold my grandchildren...I can't eat!
