Fim arms and perky chest
My boyfriend was here to help out. It was comical for me the first few days. lol
Rehab was not bad. I heard stories and expected more pain but it wasn't bad. I was able to fend for myself within a few days. Not like the bypass surgery. There was no frustrating from eating like before. I ate normally and was out and about within a week. Needing to take care of course.
I had my apt ready for the surgery. I knew how to take care of the drains and dressings. So really just taking it easy for the first week then with care after that.

Yes, there was pain but more awkward sensations than pain.
When the abdomen was opened and some of the fatty tissue removed the nerves were cut too. The sensations I was feeling was the nerves healing. The muscles were not cut so the "wound" was just on the surface. My DR. does not use the binder so there was a small area that didn't heal as nicely as the others. It separated when I sat for any length of time. My stitches were inside and the outer skin was held closed with heavy steri strips.
One of the funny side effects: I can't keep my pants up. There is no panni to keep them from drooping down. My panties and slacks kept rolling down into my incision area. I had to buy some "big girl" panties that come all the way up under my bra. hahahaha
I still have a bit of a belly but the panni is gone gone gone...... I'm so happy about it.
