wow itis 0747 am and noone started the thread!!!!! so I will,
I have had my coffee!!!! Carl is making me some!!!!
I have a massage scheduled in 2 hours for my aching back. I fell on my tile floor over the weekend!! so I need one.
it is foggy here this morning in my southern corner of the world!!!!! But the sun will come up and burn it off.

Up early today ... An hour earlier here!! Today we are getting a new furnace ... An item you definitely want working properly here in Alberta! So ...... The two dogs and I will be heading over to my sisters today as they will bark ALL DAY at the installers if we do not.
Im feeling so good post VSG. The scale shows excellent weight loss and today my diet can progress to soft foods! Yay! Still not getting all the protein in, but now that I have more options, I think it might be easier. Looking forward to a lighter summer this year with less hip and back pain.....

Good morning my OFF sistas,
Please pray for my family today. We are in a crisis with Christie--again. I won't go into all the details except to say that her boyfriend assaulted her. She called us from the ER yesterday. We drove like maniacs to get down here to San Antonio to get to her and the baby. Boyfriend went to jail, but got out late yesterday evening. His parents bailed him out.
We are hunkered down here at the lakehouse with Christie and Benny and have some HUGE decisions to make today. Please pray that God will show us a way out of this mess. As you all know, my relationship with Christie is rocky at the best of times. Things are very stressful right now, and she is so fragile and volatile, all at the same time.
And Butch and I are right in the middle of our kitchen renovation. We ran out of the house yesterday with our kitchen sink sitting in the middle of the floor and half the cabinet doors taken off their hinges. My house is in chaos. Feels like a metaphor for my life right now!
I will post more later as we figure out what to do. Please pray.

Oh, my goodness, Vickie ~ So sorry to hear of this! What a difficult thing to go through, especially for your daughter and baby. I hope and pray that she will be able to think clearly enough to know not to go back for more of the same abuse.
You and your family will be in my thoughts today. Prayers for the strength to get through this, and that your daughter will be able to make good decisions about her future and that of her baby.

Good morning, ya'll. Thought I would drop in and just say hi. Not sure what is on my agenda today; there is so much I need to do, but the question is, where to begin!
As I posted on another board, I had my psych eval Saturday. : ( Hated going through that! Lots of "stuff" that had to be dredged up, which in and of itself doesn't bother me at all, but it made me nervous that it might somehow have a negative impact on whether or not I get a good report from the session. I'm getting so far along in my surgery process that I hate the thought of any delays.
Friday is EGD/colonoscopy. Ugh. Not dreading the procedure at all, but I'm definitely not looking forward to the prepwork the day before!
It's really cloudy here in S. Texas today; we have a 40% chance of thunderstorms today. The rain is always welcome since we're been in such a severe drought, but I miss my sunshine!
Well, off to get at it, whatever "it" turns out to be, LOL!

I don't even know where to start but to ask for special prayers for my daughter, Jamie and my grandchildren, Nic and Grace. I can't get into it now but things are bad. I never should have moved back and left them. My heart is heavy and we need your prayers, good vibes, good thoughts and wishes.
Please Lord protect them!!!

Connie, so sorry you are going through this ... you know you had to move back for you. You can't live for others. I don't know what they are going through, but you have to think of yourself, first, or you won't be good enough for Nic and Grace and your daughter. That might be hard to hear, but it's true. You are in my thoughts ... take care of yourself. I hope it will all work out.
