Happy day before Easter (or Happy Passover)
Good afternoon, ya'll.
Lots of travelers out there this weekend. I hope you all have safe travels! Judy, I hope you win a bundle at Bingo. Cindi, a new size is so great! Margaret, I hope you find perfect tenants.
Last time I was in Oregon my daughter gave me a bunch of clothes. I took them all to Vegas with me. She likes pants with no pockets, I like pockets. She likes low cut blouses, me, not so much. I bought some new bras. I figure if the blouses are low, my boobs should be high!!
Early this morning, my DH and I went to Walmart for a few things. I made some soups I found recipes for. I froze them in 2 cup containers. They are supposed to be healthy, but low calorie. They sure tasted good!
I report for jury duty on Monday at 12:30. There is almost no parking close to the courthouse, so I will have a little hike. I hope I make it to the voir-dire, cause I have a lot of opinions on a lot of things! I did jury duty in Eugene once. I spent a week sitting in a room with about 400 others. I did get called to a courtroom, but the attorneys chose their jurors and alternates before they got to me. Jacksonville is a lot smaller, so it will be interesting to see how they run things here.
Our DIL has a partial hysterectomy next month. Our son isn't sure he can get leave. He has been out a lot with his own Dr. appts, and he is taking leave for their cruise in June. So I want to be available to be with her for the 2 days she will be in the hosp. She was there for me during all of my cancer journey. She is the best DIL anyone could ask for!

Happy Easter/Passover everyone. I know it has been a long time since I have been here. My life has been pretty crazy, but good. I have now officially reached 100 pounds lost. It still feels kind of weird to look semi normal, but I caught myself in the mirror at the gym today and I looked like a regular person. We are not doing anything in particular for Easter. DH is working this weekend. I hope everyone has safe travels and a blessed weekend.

Today is a major yard work day for us. I'm just in for a short break from all the mowing, mowing, mowing . . . Got to make things pretty for the bunny to hide eggs in the morning!
Benny and the girls dyed Easter eggs a little while ago. Not so sure what Benny thought of that process! Now he has gone to visit some friends with his Aunt Carrie, and Chris is going to visit some of her friends, so it's just Juan, Butch and I here to finish up the yard and clean up.
I am so tired! I woke up at 4 a.m. and just could not make my brain turn off. I was up. So I got my Nook and read until I finished my book, around 6 a.m. Then I managed to drop off for about 30 minutes until the alarm rang! LOL! Not feeling too peppy right now, but no naps for me today.

Was a beautiful day in Alberta today! Walked both dogs and enjoyed the sunshine. I'm a little discouraged as I have lost 12 pounds since surgery but have been the same the last 10 days. Oh well, I keep on doing what I know I'm supposed to do, and it will come.
Going to my sisters tomorrow for dinner. My boys will be there and it will be nice to see them! Hope everyone is having a great weekend .....
