Thursday What's Happening?
Hi Judy, sounds like you're living in a soap opera ;-). I also like playing Bingo, but can't go this Friday night.
Ben was a mixed ****er. He was only 12 yrs. old and I was lucky to have him for the last 4yrs of his life. We noticed on Easter that his front tooth was hanging; it turned out to be a tumor in his gum. After two and a half weeks, two surgeries and three hospitalizations I had to have him put down. He had mast cell rumors; they kept multiplying, so wired. It's funny how they know they are sick and it's time to go. Their eyes do the talking for them.

Welcome Linda and so sorry about your fur-baby. You will note on here we are all animal lovers.
I have 3 dogs and 2 out door cats, I just got my Momma cat fixed so no more kittens. We live out in the country and people like to drop animals off at our house.
Well OFF family, I will be on vacation, returning on Tuesday. Going camping at South Haven and plan to relax and have fun, fun and more fun. Today was really hot and muggy.
Connie...take those meds and I hope you will be pain free soon. Seems like lots of people are having problems with asthma, achy bones, headaches. Ugh!

I hope you will stick around. We are a supportive, loving group of people, mostly women, though some men to check in every once in a while. We share our laughs and our tears. Some of us have grandchildren and many of us have fur babies.
So sorry about your dog, Ben. I lost a dog to a tumor about 14 years ago, and thought I'd never get over it. I had two cats for a while, after my divorce, but my allergies and chronic sinus infections, just made it impossible to keep them. I now have a crazy dog, Shiba Inu, named Utley. He has ADHD, and OCD. He's three, almost four year old. He loves to play fetch, and is full of energy. Keeps me on my toes.

Getting used to being back home and tired from jetlag, waking up at 4 am, paying bills today and went out to buy groceries as fridge was bare and only had frozen stuff in freezer. Now have fresh veggies and fruit! Neighbour who looked after my mail and plants asked me to a benefit church dinner for Innu (Eskimo) ladies at her apt this Saturday, so will attend for an arctic char dinner with my $20 contribution....am totally off cooking dinner these days since I returned, and not eating right!
