OT: Prayers for those Families in Auroa, Colorado

This morning when I woke up to rain, I got out of bed and when I opened my computer and saw the headline, I thought of what horror those innocent people endured, when all they wanted was to go to the movies and be entertained. . .  lives have been shattered and lost and families, including that sicko who did this are forever changed. . . let us keep them in thought and prayer. . .

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen

Laureen...I am still in awe over this horrible tragedy. People aren't safe anywhere anymore.

I am keeping those families in my thoughts and prayers.  So sad that a 3 month old baby was killed.

HUGS....connie d

I used to only live about 5 miles from where it happened. I used to work at the hospital not far from there. a few of the victoms were taken there and the spoksperson that spoke was the doc that I worked with was on tv this morning.

Prayers and healing for all involved in this tragedy, prayers for the hospital workers, police also. Our world has changed and it's not for the better. My heart is heavy.

I pray some kind of peace can come to those families.

I was talking to my daughter who is 16 (we started late in life) and she say's "wow mom, if no one cares about life now what kind of world will it be to raise my kids in"? I didn't have an answer for her. I do know we need to change things some how. May God Bless all those families and friends.

People care, but there will always be those people in the world that are not right, either sick or just plain sick in spirit, holding grudges/harboring resentments and/or seeking attention/fame, whatever the case may be.

Prayer is a good way to wish those most affected to find peace, but I do believe changing laws so that people cannot own anything more than a handgun and/or rifle might help some (personally, I'm against all guns, but understand how some might feel otherwise), but why do people need to own Assault weapons that shoot off 100s of rounds of ammunition in short order?

My Mantra is that I do not determine my success by the number hanging in my closet, nor will I let the scale determine that success either. . .  It is through trial and error I will continue to grow and succeed. . .  Laureen
