Thought for the Evening

I need help. I had my surgery June 29th, 2012. I lost 32 lbs in a flash by 6 weeks. I stalled and didn' t loose any for a while. I talked with my councelor and she told me my body was confused and stop getting on the scale everyday. Weekly was plenty. I called a friend who had her surgery a year ago, she questioned me about what I've been eating and we descided I was not getting enough fluids and not enough protein. Ok, increased both and lost 2 lbs. Wow, went out to dinner with my hubby and gained a pound back. I'm just frustrated. It's been 8 weeks this Friday. I feel good, look so much better, I'm just sad. I feel like I have set myself up for a life of despiration at the scale. Please talk to me. I haven't had a potatoe, bread, rice, noodles, rolls, almost every carb in months.
First of all your councelor was correct, your body is confused and is holding on to whatever your able to eat.
The scale is not your best friend so stay off it. Once a week is enough but if you can go 2 weeks do that. Measure yourself instead. Journal. It will take awhile to get the protein you need just keep working on it. YOU are normal and doing great! Keep posting. We are rooting for you!
