Busy night at work: Friday night football, plus a late breaking story where an arrest was made in the slaying of a girl in Illinois and then her boyfriend's body was found. Yeah, all on my watch.
We are supposed to get rain from Isaac today. It was supposed to start Friday night but it hasn't started yet.
Not much else happening. Glad you are feeling better.
Morning OFF family....Carla glad that you are feeling better and finally able to go home...seems you are never there...lol
Eileen we are also going to get some of that rain and not sure when it will start here...talk is 2-6 inches when all over with.
Going back to Willoughby today for Rick's daughter's graduation party. FINALLY she graduated! WOOHOO!!! Thought we would go for the day but now he wants to stay over night. Not happy about that but oh well. He goes for my family so I can't say no to his I guess.
My sister is in the hospital again. Infection again and going to have surgery also. Dr is going to put a stent in her kidney see if that will stop the infections from happening so often. As of last night she still didn't have the surgery yet. Haven't heard anything yet this morning if she had it yet or not. She is on dyalisis 3 times a week also.
Well that is about all my news for today. Need to get packed and hit the road I guess. I have been stopping in to read posts and no time to post. Have a safe and happy holiday!

A quick runby from Owosso though we are right now in Ravana! We wanted to see families but couldn't see all in one day but couldn't afford the money for gas for the beast plus camping fees so we brought the beast and are camping my brother in laws yard! We have the weekend to spend plenty of time with both families and see the old grouch (My stepdad) someplace of our own to sleep and cook and such> Even gonna go into church with the old grouch tomarrow! that will mean more to him than anything we could do.

Well, I finally got a day off from babysitting Benny and instead I am babysitting FIVE dogs! OMG. Everything from a 5 lb chihuahua to a 65 lb lab. It's a bit crazy in here today, but at least I do not have to change any diapers! LOL!
All my daughters, their friends, and the baby are off on various pursuits today, so I have the house to myself (unless you count the 5 dogs, of course) and it is wonderful to just have some down time. I'm still in my pjs and may just stay that way all day.
Lots of folks have arrived in our lakeside neighborhood for the holiday weekend. Usually the houses on either side of me are empty, but it seems everyone decided to get away for a last hurrah of summer fun. I'm not used to having neighbors. I went out to feed the deer this morning in my pjs, not thinking about the neighbors being here. Even though my pjs look just fine (capri pants and a tee), I felt a little underdressed. Which is silly, considering they all had on shorty shorts and skimpy tank tops. I was way more covered up than they were! Had a huge herd of deer this morning, btw. Over 40 came to eat today. They are feeling the pinch of a long hot summer. Not much left out there for them to eat.
You all would have laughed this morning at the picture Benny made after his bath. There he was, naked and giggling, rolling around on the floor with all five dogs. He looked just like Mowgli (The Jungle Book) being raised by a pack of wolves! We laughed and laughed at him. He thought it was hilarious and great fun!

Vickie it sounds like you live in a wonderful place with all the animals. I have six animals 3 dogs and 3 cats would have more but my husband would kill me. The only reason I don't foster animals is I'd keep them all. lol! Plus dogs are so much easier than kids!
So I took the advice of everyone yesterday and changed up my eating and measured myself this morning and sure enough I've lost about 18 inches and another pound. So thank you all for your support and help.
Not much going on this weekend. Will be taking Krissy out dress shopping for homecoming in 2 weeks.

Well...someone dropped off a beautiful male Rottweiler, no tags but a collar and of course my hubby said no we aren't taking him. I told him to drop him off to the Humane Society, he might have a chip inside him. He's really friendly and a big baby, he tried to get into the house, he is an inside dog. Damn people dropping off animals in the country. What are they thinking?
Took my granddaughter clothes shopping yesterday. We went to Marshall's and I got some great buys. Rozi was grateful, kept saying "Thank you grandma" over and over. She really enjoys her one on one time with grandma!
Working tomorrow then I'm off for 11 days. Going camping up at Ludington State Park, plan on doing some swimming (hope the water isn't too cold!), walking and bike riding. I love walking in the back woods and looking at wildlife and just listening to sounds. Oh yeah...I'll also be sitting back, relaxing and reading my books.

Sorry I'm late. Had to run out this morning to mail a package to my daughter. I'm really falling behind this weekend. The car accident threw me for a loop. I could not get comfortable in bed last night at all.
I'm basically just hanging out in my apartment today. Nothing exciting. My Phillies are on Fox this afternoon. They beat the Braves last night. Phillies are trying to get into Wild Card contention, and beating the Braves helps. Braves are in second place in the NL East. Phils are in third.

Having a really relaxing day. I went to lunch with my sister. I then took her to Walmart and helped her shop. I came home and then went tanning. I am now having some computer time to myself. So nice to have my time!!
