Happy Tuesday from another Oldie. . .
Good morning Laureen & all. Well today I get to clean my house. Had a funeral on Sunday, & did more wood yesterday.
I love not having chemo as I was tossing logs all over the place. Even surprised my DH. We have an outdoor woodstove & we go thru about 8-10 full cords of wood a winter. It feels wonderful to do hard work. I want to wish everyone good health, Trish, Laureen, Connie. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone. My memory is still very short. Nancy B, I hope you are doing well too.

Congrats on the lower cholesterol !! My B12 is up too. My doctor wants me to quit taking it now....guess I better. Glad you had a relaxing weekend with Tony.

Vickie...you will be missed when you are gone. I know what you mean....I can check my e-mails, Facebook etc. but, it is harder to type on phones! I hope I will be able to have internet at my daughter's next week!!!

Nan....glad the chemo is over and you can get outside and work some. Sounds like a lot of hard physical labor to me. I could never do it!! So nice to see you here today!!

I did the usual filling of my sister's meds, ordering more and on and on!! My BFF, Pam, called and needed me to take her to Target for a few things. We were there over an hour!! Then she decided she needed to make two more stops. I am so happy to help her but now I am exhausted.
Not planning anything tonight. I will write up my list of things I need to bring to Iowa. Tomorrow I have to get my driver's license renewed and get new car plates. I dread it as it will be so much money!!! My daughter did help me out with some of it. She had unexpected expenses and couldn't give it all to me. She felt so bad. I will be okay anyway!!
A very special friend, a true angel has helped me some too!! God is taking care of me!! There are Angels among us in ever step of the way!!!
Time to take a pain med and nap
for a while. No cleaning the house today. Maybe tomorrow. Have a peaceful day!! Prayers for so many in need.

I'm on here really late today. I had a doc appointment in the morning to deal with these headaches I've been having. Thought it was sinus, and I has right. He prescribed Flonase, a nasal steroidal spray. So after leaving the office, I went to look at a couple of apartment complexes, then went to Walgreens for the prescription. Well, the doc called in the wrong kind of steroid ... see, it also comes in an inhaler, called Flovent (which I use for asthma) ... that's what they called in. And the insurer wouldn't fill it because it had already filled it recently. So I had to go home with my headache without my script. Pissed off, tired, not feeling good. Didn't sleep well because of these headaches.
Not much going on today otherwise ... I got home, had lunch, watched another episode of "Downton Abbey," so I finished up on season 1. Too tired to do anything. Just staying home today and watching baseball on the computer, hopefully going to bed early.
Laureen, you got some good suggestions about your pain but when they have tested you up and down, if they don't find anything, you should ask about fibro. Although if you had Epstein-Barr, that might be a possibility.

Good evening Laureen and OFF family...and howdy Laureen!!
Hubby has had a terrible cold and I think I'm finally coming down with it or it could be just my flu shot I had today that makes me feel "ugh"...I think it's time for some Musinex tonight when I get home....just in case.
The weather has turned cold and people here in Michigan are wearing sweatshirts. I don't like getting hot and like some still waiting for that "Indian summer time".
Hubby told me we are going to the Martin kickoff supporting the high school thingy on Friday. I think our eldest granddaughter wants us to take her. It is fun watching all the little kids running round and playing. Now if we could only bottle that energy!
I'm off Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon. 4 days off then another long stretch on. I like having all my days off in a row so it's worth it for me.
Hubby decided to can the Ren Faire at GVSU and ride down with his buddies to Kentucky for 4-Wheeling fun. I'm glad cuz I didn't want him riding all that way by himself after doing the Ren Faire.
