What an amazing difference 4 weeks make!! You look wonderful.  The incision line look great too. (the nurse in my coming out)  To see the progression is amazing, especially between week 2 to week 4.  Keep up the good work!

You look fantastic, I hope you don't mind me looking. That's why I posted mine because I know it's hard for the ladies to post those, but all that aside, you look great. You can really tell the difference between 1st week and 4th week. I hope you have a speedy recovery and thanks for the advice about the exercise.

Melinda, I am looking to have plastics in kansas, oklahoma, or texas.  I was wondering what all was included in your lower body lift and also what you paid for it and your breast lift.  I am wanting to have both done but I thought that the lower body lift included thighs so i probably also want that as well.  Aslo, i think your answer is yes, but would you recommend your Doc?

Sorry it took so long to reply - I went back to work this week and it's been tiring and hectic...

I used Dr Peter Fisher in San Antonio - and I have the pics on my profile for you to see the results!

He has been a  PS for years and is now focusing his practice on post-WLS body contouring.  He is confident & personable, replies to my email questions (even while on vaca with his family in Hawaii) and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with every aspect of my surgery.  He was the top recommendation from my WLS surgeon, and it turned out that his Brother was the surgeon that had done my Breast Reduction waaaay back in 1996.  Even back then they had an excellent reputation for quality.

My LBL included the standard circumferential removal of excess skin and tissue, a tummy tuck (tightening of the stomach muscles), sculpting with lipo where he felt necessary, and also some sculpting of my hips (he was gonna add some to my butt too, but said he re-evaluated during the surgery and decided I didn't really need it - plus I told him I'd be pissed if I came out with a J-Lo butt.. he listened and decided I was good where I was...LoL  He Listens!)

The thighs aren't included in the LBL, and most Dr's prefer to do them separately.  In my case - I hated the saggy melted candlesticks that my inner thighs had become.  But just by him pulling up all the excess skin that I thought was 'just' my stomach, ended up taking out all the wrinkles of my thighs!  Granted they still aren't as "skinny" as they could be if I chose to have them worked on - I am MORE than happy with the way they turned out!!

It's hard to exactly say what I paid "in-full" since my insurance covered the Panniculectomy portion and I paid the difference.  My total out of pocket was still around $14k.  Needless to say, he isn't the cheapest in town - but I went to a couple of them and they just didn't sit well with me for one reason or another.  I can't say I didn't  shop based on price - but I did go into the initial appointment and told him that I couldn't afford him if the insurance didn't cover their part.  He worked with me to get the insurance issues worked through and came up with a price I could work with.  My fall-back plan had the Ins said no was Dr S in Monterrey.  I still would have saved a bit by going to him, but do like that I got to recover in my own home.  My husband is a firefighter/EMT and so having him home with me was as good as having Dr S send a nurse over every day.. and he cooked too!  LOL

Best of luck in your decision and PM me if you have other questions.
