Three weeks to Lower Body Lift: Let's talk garments

Okay, just had my pre-op appointment with the surgeon for my Oct 2nd LBL! Got my prescriptions, filled out a ton of paperwork, got some blood drawn and had an ECG. I'm so excited!

But, I learned that the only garment my surgeon sends me home in is an abdominal binder. When I asked about more elaborate compression garments, he basically just suggested Spanx. I'm not super comfortable with that for a couple of reasons, but mostly because of my experience trying to tug on my compression sleeves post-arm lift -- god, that was painful. I can only imagine how more terrible it would be to try to shrug on a full bodysuit over my 360-degree incisions.

So! What compression did you wear post-body lift? I'd prefer something with a full leg option because I have leg swelling now and want to do my utmost to mitigate that post-op. And an open crotch so I can go to the bathroom. And suspenders so it doesn't roll/slide down would be great, too. And, of course, zippers or hooks so there's not too much shrugging.

Anybody have a post-op garment for their LBL that they loved? I'd really appreciate a link and your input on them!

My surgeon uses these compression girdles. I love them. I used the "over the knee" version, but there is a full leg option.

They do have some "strapped" options which have the suspenders, but I honestly doubt you'll have an issue with things rolling/sliding. It's compression gear, it is basically fused to your body. If it rolls or slides, it's because it's too big.

The separating zippers are awesome because they separate all the way to the bottom. The non-separating zippers don't go quite all the way to the bottom.

I like that look of yours, Gwen... but how can I possibly order one when I have no idea what size I'll be after surgery? How did your pick your size? How did that work out?
