Boobie Revision Tomorrow!

Hello all! In less than 12 hours I'll be hopefully recovering from a revision to my original breast lift/augmentation. It's been almost 6 months since the original surgery and my implants never dropped. I had very little mass left after losing like 190 lbs. and my surgeon tried to preserve it and give me a more natural look but alas, the mass ended up filling the pocket made for the implants. With clothes on, they look awesome. With clothes off, it's hardly noticeable. But by feel...you can tell.

I will post some before and after photos once things have healed up a bit but what I'm getting done is a revision to the lift (to tighten it out a bit), and an implant removal and replacement. Since they are removing more of my natural breast tissue, I chose to size up this time. I'm going from 260/285cc implants to 475/500cc implants. I'm 5'10" with a larger frame so my surgeon thinks they'll look perfectly natural. I'm excited and I can't wait til they heal up. Hoping that this will be the last time I EVER have to have a revision (aside from many years down the lines when the implants have to be replaced).

Wish me luck!!!

It's over and went really well. My follow up is on Tuesday - which is also when I'm going back to work so I'm hoping I'll feel better by then. Pain is manageable. Mostly just a lot of burning.

We ended up going with 485ccs in each breast, but unfortunately, going through the nipple again couldn't be avoided. I'm really hoping things settle just as they should.

One thing I have to note is that it's harder to take things easy with having JUST the breast work. With my previous surgery, since I was also basically immobile from the tummy tuck, it was much easier to take it easy so I wasn't remotely in a position where I'd be lifting anything or being too active. Now, I'm really trying to be super cautious because I am more free in my movements and want to ensure I don't screw anything up!

I had the same issue with "taking it easy" after my mastopexy and UBL. I was so wrecked after my LBL and brachioplasty that I felt GREAT after the second surgery!
