Topic: RE: Seeking exceptional California plastic surgeon for breast implants!

California is a "holy land" for cosmetic surgery, so there's no shortage of skilled doctors. However, for someone who's undergone significant weight loss like you, the most important thing is the suturing technique to minimize scarring. You should check out Dr. Sanjay Grover (Newport Beach), who specializes in transaxillary geometry dash meltdown breast augmentation (leaving no visible scars on the breasts), or Dr. Karen Horton (San Francisco), renowned for her incredibly skillful and meticulous work. Just search for "Transaxillary Breast Augmentation" if you want to completely hide your scars!

Congratulations on your incredible 120kg weight loss journey! To find reviews in South America, don't use website filters; instead, go to Google and type "site:realself.com body lift Colombia" or search for "Plastic Surgery Colombia Support" (geometry dash world) groups on Facebook. Canadians there provide very detailed reviews of doctors specializing in "Massive Weight Loss" at much more affordable prices. Just remember to choose someone experienced in handling large amounts of skin to ensure safety.

Topic: RE: has anyone gotten financed after a bankruptcy??

Yes, it's definitely possible to get financing after a bankruptcy, though it often takes patience and the right approach. Lenders will want proof of stability, like steady income and a clear explanation of past issues. Rebuilding credit and working with trustworthy lenders is key. For those in urgent need, options like Quick Personal Loans can provide temporary support while you improve your financial profile and prepare for larger financing down the road.

Topic: Metro Atlanta Plastic Surgeon

Long time since I've been on any of these forums. Does anyone have a name for a good plastic surgeon for a lower body lift?

In 2007, my highest recorded weight was 426 pounds. I lost a little but had my gastric bypass in 2009. I lost literally 1/2 of myself and got to 215. Unfortunately, that didn't last long. Then the surgery was redone in 2011. The surgery was a sucess (as far as I'm concerned) as I've always managed to stay under 300 pounds. Every so often, I'd lose some weight, but it came right back no matter what I did. Fast forward to 2024. My doctor suggested Wegovy. I rolled my eyes, but said, I'd try it. 18 months later I'm at size 12!!!! I have never been this skinny in my life. I can walk into a normal women's clothing store and purchase clothing! I'm essentially maintaining at 160, which my doctor is very happy with.

So now, I need a whole lower body lift. Mid-section (stomach, hips, tushie) and thighs. If those things are taken care of, clothes will fit me properly. While I'd love to do the batwings too, I feel like that's more cosmetic than functional. Of course, I'd like to try and get some of it covered by insurance if at all possible.

So if you have a name of a good metro Atlanta plastic surgeon, and one who's office is willing to at least make an attempt to talk to the insurance company, I'm all ears. For reference, I'm in Cobb/Paulding. I don't mind going to Buckhead or downtown, but I'm trying not to head to the northeast (Alpharetta, ******* Forsyth...).

Thank you, in advance for any suggestions!

Topic: RE: Kids AFTER plastics?

It is perfectly possible to have cosmetic surgery before having children, and many people have done so and still had normal pregnancies and deliveries. However, pregnancy can alter or affect the results of surgery, especially with interventions in the abdomen and chest area (Geometry Dash). Therefore, if surgery helps you feel comfortable, confident, and improves your quality of life now, it is a worthwhile choice, provided you accept the possibility of needing revisions after childbirth. The most important thing is to have a clear conversation with your specialist, weigh your current benefits and future plans, and then make the best decision for yourself.

Hello everyone- I have a thigh lift scheduled for Oct. 1st. It'll be a doozy - from groin to ankle basically. My surgeon doesn't use compression garments and I'm wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and the best thing to wear for post-surgery recovery. A skirt/dress so there's no rubbing on the bandages? Or loose pants so my legs aren't rubbing against each other? I forgot to ask him if there'll be a drain (I didn't have one for my arm lift but did for my tummy tuck) so I'm not sure if that's a factor too

After a thigh lift without a compression bandage, you should wear loose, soft x trench run clothing that does not rub against the incision. The best choice is a loose skirt/dress or soft, loose lounge pants/pajamas, with underwear or thin shorts if the skirt to avoid the thighs rubbing against each other. If there is a drainage tube, prioritize pants/skirts that are easy to manipulate so as not to affect the incision.

Thanks Zetta. Yes that was first step intention of my post was to chat with other people and look for reviews. Thought there might be some people here. Thanks for the suggestions of the other places to look for those.

And yes considering the entire cost and post-op process will factor into my decision just like it did with my original WLS.

You can absolutely find good and affordable plastic surgeons in South American countries like Colombia or Brazil to perform surgery to remove excess skin after major weight loss. However, to ensure safety and effectiveness, you should:

  • Choose a doctor who has experience with patients who have lost a lot of weight (post-bariatric body lift Grow a Garden) and check their credentials/reputation.
  • Find reviews and real-life experiences from previous international patients through forums, Reddit, RealSelf, or ask your doctor for references.
  • Consider the entire post-operative process: length of stay, post-operative care, follow-up upon return to Canada, and overall cost.

Hi,

I'm Canadian and had DS surgery with Dr. Ungson in Mexico in 2010. He was a great surgeon and I found him through this forum.

I've lost about 270 lbs on average (varies slightly by only a few pounds at any given time) so my weight is stable and has been for a long time.

I have ton of loose skin. Like everywhere. Pretty much want to have my full body done.

I was thinking I'd like to head south again for the surgery(ies) and had heard from someone that are very good yet also very cheap surgeons in countries like Colombia and Brazil.

When I search here, it's asking me for State/Province info rather than country.

Does anyone know how I can go about finding some reviews here of people that went south for their skin removal surgeries?

Thanks,
