Shelly, thank you! I am 1 week post-op and doing great. I started reading your blog very early in my journey, and it has been such a great resource. Love your recipes, love the topics, love your spirit and attitude. I hope you know how important a resource it is, and how many lives you have improved on a daily basis. Please keep up the good work.
I am deeply appreciative!
I avoid baking so I'm not of much help. Since you want the recipe recommendations in time for the family getting together, I suggest that you cross-post this on the Main Discussion MB so more members will see it right away.
I also did a search for weight loss surgery baking recipes.
If you make any sugar-free yummy, please post the recipe. Have fun with your family!
Cathy

My favorite is...
2 scoops vanilla latte click
1 cup brewed coffee
little splenda to taste
dash of vanilla
6 ice cubes
My favorite is mocha mint coffee. Take 1 scoop of your favorite chocolate protein and place in coffee cup add davinci peppermint SF syrup just enough to get the protein powder wet and stir to a paste. After you've made the paste slowly add warm coffee stirring the entire time. Add your favorite sweetner if needed.

I think my favorite shake right now is 8oz of 1% milk, Chocolate protein, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter powder. As long as it is super cold it tastes great!
Since I have been doing the weight loss journey, I have been able to try many things, and found this combo to be my fave.
2 scoops of chocolate peanut butter whey protein powder, 1Tbs of PB2, 1tsp of instant coffee, 1/2 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt. Blend Well.
Try, and enjoy. My sister replaces coffee with Bananas.
My favorite shake would be any protein shake combined with some peanut butter and sugar free chocolate chips! Plus loads of ice and water! I am craving one right now too ;)
I have a lot of issues with protein shakes, so I like when I find a combination that I can handle. My favorite shake to make is using 8 oz. fat-free lactaid, or unsweetened almond milk. 1 scoop of key lime flavored protein powder. Add kale and 1/2 of a small banana. Blend well and enjoy! I have substituted banana cream dannon light and fit greek yogurt instead of the banana, and it's good!
A good coffee shake is taking 8 oz. lactaid, 1 scoop coffee protein, raspberry syrup and about 4 or 5 frozen raspberries. Blend well!
