Topic: Quick Meal Idea
I am always looking for something quick to make for lunch or dinner..this is the easiest thing to make and it's delish!
1 package of frozen veggies with cheese sauce (I use the cauliflower or broccoli or the mixture of both)
1 single container of minute rice (the one you put in the microwave for literally 1 min)
1/2 cup of cooked meat ( I use can of chicken breast or the packaged beef or chicken by Tyson)
microwave the frozen veggies per the package...microwave the rice...combine veggies, rice and meat in a dish and viola!!
It's so easy and very lo-cal!

Topic: unflavoured protien powder
Does anyone have any reccomendations for an unflavoured protien powder that "disapears" into other foods well?
Any warnings about ones that stand out no matter how small an amount you mix into the others foods?
Thanks,
Donna

Topic: RE: I want to try fish!
Hungry Girl coated it with Fiber One Cereal (crushed)...I tried it..I had to season the crumbs really well with garlic powder and onion powder...I pan fried it in a lil spray butter..I don't like fish if it isn't fried, but I really liked this...for a lil added flavor I used dijon mustard to coat the fish and then dipped it in the cereal mixture..really good!

This has a little bit of sweetener in it but its very tasty...
Salmon with honey (sort of) balsamic glaze
2 salmon fillets
1 1/2 Tblsp Mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar
1 T Honey (but if the honey will bother you or you dump try agave nectar)
1 1/2 tsp sesame seeds
3/4 tsp dried oregano
3/4 tsp olive oil
1 clove of garlic minced.
Whisk together the mayo and the balsamic vinegar until smooth. Mix in all other ingredients and stir until combined. Place fillets in baking dish, skin side down and spoon glaze over the top and sides. Bake fillets at 375 degrees for 12-18 minutes. Cooking time will change based on the size/thickness of the fillets. The fish should flake easily with a fork when done.
If you use a low fat/non fat mayo or use one with healthier olive oil it would be better than the standard 'full fat' mayo. I use Helmans made with Olive Oil as my standard mayo.
Hope you like it. I love baked fish!

Topic: RE: Looking for a powdered sugar replacement
ideal brand makes powdered and brown sugar substitutes. i usually find them at wegmans, and shop rite stores or at www.amazon.com. you can make your own by putting 1 cup of splenda and 1 tsp of corn starch in a food processor and whirling it for a few minutes. it does take longer than you would think.

WWW.wheylow.com they have a powdered sugar form. You can also find it at some Whole foods markets.
Good luck,

YAY, Jenn...thanks for the kind words!
I wait all year for this and love that it doesn't require a hot oven!
