Topic: RE: Are there any WLS cook books?
I agree... if you go to Amazon, there are several different choices.  I love to cook, so I have all of them!

I have a hungry (and very picky) fiance, and he's liked EVERYTHING I've made from Recipes for Life After Weight Loss Surgery by Margaret Furtado.  He always says, "make something from 'the blue book'!"  (It has a blue cover).  The recipes are simple to make and really, REALLY tasty.

Other favorites:
Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery by Michele Bontmpo-Saray - the food is a little fancier than in Recipe for Life, but I've made a majority of the recipes and have liked most of them.

Extraordinary Taste by Shannon Owens-Malette - lots of simple recipes that can be on the table quickly.  Has a lot of good suggestions for snack food and food to bring to parties too.

if you go to  www.amazon.com  and search wls cookbooks or weight loss surgery  you will see some very good titles. you can either buy there or write down the names and get them locally at a book store or library.

Topic: RE: High-Protein Vegan Recipes, Anyone?
OMG I LOVE Jackie, and we're already buddies!  I had no idea her hubs was a vegan chef, but I did notice that she "liked" everything I ever posted on Facebook about tempeh

Topic: RE: Yellow Chicken - What The Heck?
Ok, I've seen you post about the yellow chickens, and I know it bothers you ;)  .. and I won't get a chance to see it when I'm there next month.. but I need to know, is it the skin or the meat that's yellow when raw?

We get birds from a local guy, they run all over the farm ..till they don't anymore and the flesh is a little diff than store bought, tastes like "chicken" chicken.. but I can't call it yellow, the skin & fat though are.
