Topic: RE: I need recipe ideas for ground turkey
When I cook my ground turkey I add an little worshichire sauce, garlic powder and season salt.
Here is something I make that my family just loves!! I usually have to make a double batch so everyone can have some for the next day too.
1 lb ground turkey
1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom
1 can nacho cheese from campbells
fat free shredded cheese (any kind)
small bag of hash browns
brown ground turkey (I use season salt, and garlic poweder to season) add both cans of soup one the meat is cooked thoughly. mix soups and meat pour into a baking pan, sprinkle with cheese, then add your hash browns on top.
Put in the oven at about 425 for about 25 minues.
My famly loves it. and most don't even realize it is pretty much fat free.

I took some chicken breast and cooked it through boiling it in chicken broth then diced it up and added it to a blender with some roasted veggies and used that for easy digesting. You will want to puree it for a while, but it will go down as easy as a smoothie - if you are looking for drinking. If you want something thicker - use a food processor and chop it that way till its small. Add stuff to this and you can have a "chicken salad" - grapes, nuts, avocado, beans - whatever you want to have the consistancy that is good for you. Don't forget to add the herbs and I love to throw some either fresh or roasted garlic in the mix.
Have fun!

It took reading every jar in the store but the Tomato & Basil flavor by Classico is sugar-free and delicious!

I am currently in the ground meat stage and will be for another three weeks. I am already sick of ground turkey. What else can I be eating right now? Do any of you have some good recipe ideas?
Topic: RE: Lasagne made with Spaghetti Squash
I have used zucchini or eggplant sliced the long way to make lasagna noodles.
Topic: RE: Attention Soup Lovers
That was my point, 100 (or 108 in your case) calories per cup didn't compare with tomato juice.

I haven't been able to eat pasta without it making me sick for almost 6 yrs now...so the spaghetti squash is a great alternative for me...I don't think it tastes that much like pasta but it does allow me to continue making "pasta" dishes :)

I had a party last Friday and made Turkey Joes! I used the can and browned 4lbs of turkey, 4 cans of Manwhich and added garlic and onions. It was a huge hit! I served it w/ big buns, but I only had the bottom of the bun, and only ate 2/3 of it!
All the suggestions sound yummy! I just found this thread. YEAH!
