Topic: Looking for Recipe for Bari Friendly Corn Bread... stat! :-)
I'm making a yummy healthy turkey chili for NYE dinner tonight and I would LOVE to find a recipe for a healthy corn bread.  Low carb, low sugar... that would be the bomb.  Anyone got a recipe for a Bari Friendly corn bread?

 I've been creating recipes for us since my surgery in '04!  Have them on my blog and add new ones all the time.  I think you'll find things that will become favorites...I hope!!

(Nevermind the cookies on the front page.  They are for the Holidays!!  Most of the recipes are not dessert!!)

Beef Stew and Noodle Slow Cooker Meal  ‎1lb of stew meat
2 jars of savory beef gravy
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 bag wide egg noodles
Sour Cream for garnish
...
I mix the two jars of gravy and can of mushroom soup in the crock pot and then add the meat. I cook that on low for about 6 hours or until meat is done and tender. Then I add a bag of egg noodles into the pot and coo****il done, or if I know I'm going to have a vegetarian on the guest list I cook the noodles separately. I always put a dollop of sour cream on mine it just adds another layer of creamy to it.

I wanted to say that I made these for Christmas Eve and they turned out great!  Thank you for the great recipe.

(I did make them and have to transport them about an hour away and left them in the pan and the bottoms did get a bit soggy from the juices, but they were still really good!)

Topic: RE: sf eggnog??
Here is a recipe i came across a few weeks ago...

* 1 (1 ounce) package sugar-free instant vanilla pudding mix
* 5 cups nonfat milk
* 1 packet aspartame sweetener
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
* 1 pinch ground nutmeg
* 1 teaspoon rum flavored extract

1. In a large mixing bowl, mix together sugar free vanilla pudding mix, nonfat milk, sweetener, ground cinnamon, dash of nutmeg , and rum extract. Mix these very well with a wire whisk for at least 2 minutes. If this is too thick, add more milk and sweetener.

what do you wanna be when you grow up little girl? i wanna be a loser and sit on the bench sir! (45 lbs lost pre op) 300lbs starting weight, currently 141lbs! Lowest has been 135lbs and hoping to get back to that.

There is surprisingly very little sugar in real eggnog. BUT there is enought fat to jam any artery. Consider making Alton Brown's egg nog. He has both a raw egg and cooked version.
