I have not tried them because I have no dates but I am going to try them soon. I don't therefore know how any substitutions will work. Have a go at it and let us know if you find any ways to make them more WLS friendly!

Topic: RE: How do you make Protein Coffee
Good to know ... I've been trying to make protein coffee or hot cocoa-type drinks with my protein powder but not having much luck ... anyone willing to share the brands of protein they're using to be successful?

Okay, I'm not a cook but I made something that is soooo good!
For we "non cooks" this is ideal.
Take 1-2 frozen chicken breasts, put them in a microwave steamer bag. Add 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, garlic to your liking, and Thyme... lots of it. Thaw according to your microwave instructions. Then cook (my micowave is 4 minutes, it's a mega microwave. Yours may vary.)
Fantastic. Eat it alone, put it on salads.... it's good.
It is moist and perfect for WLS folks.

Topic: Can some of you email me some high protein, low carb recipes
I exerise like crazy now and have been for the past 4 years, maybe missing about 6 months in total due to some personal things that I was doing. I am now trying to get back on track because I am now getting married June 11th, 2011....
Can anyone, please tell me what I can do to get these 10 lbs off of me. To jumpstart this thing again. My eating habits aren't out of control, and exerise is one of my best hobbies, I just can't seem to get this tomgether.
Can anyone who is new out, or even old out who is still maintaining, help me and give me a menu or some pointers on getting back on track the way I should. Again, I'm not doing bad, but want at least these 10 lbs off before my wedding...
Help me out.

My story:
I had my GB 02/01/2006. I lost about 42 lbs. I have gained back about 10 lbs since. I was small to begin with (212 lbs) so I knew my weight loss wouldn't be huge.I exerise like crazy now and have been for the past 4 years, maybe missing about 6 months in total due to some personal things that I was doing. Do leftovers include remade foods?
For example, Day 1 is Tacos then use the filling to make Empanadas on day 4. Or Beef Roast which becomes Ministrone.

You are welcome Deb. On the BROWNIE recipe. I noticed that the recipe didn;t have flour, It calls for 3/4 cup four. Please add that to the recipe. I don't want anyone to waste the ingredients and it not turn out. Enjoy the recipes.

Though my DH does hnot have altered insides,we only like leftovers for about one more meal. I half or quarter my recipes and that is about right for the two of us.
I usually cook one chicken breast and we half it and one steak filet and half that.I cook two hanburger patties but ya'll might could get by with one and half that.
You could probably share a good size porkchop. The thionk that has helped me most is halving or quartering recipes.
Good luck!
