My Insurance Has APPROVED Me for RNY!

Just wanted to let you all know that my insurance (Tricare Prime) has approved me for my surgery!

I won't have an actual surgery date for a week or two and then it will be about 2 months out. My surgeon is scheduled up about two months in advance, so probably some time in August is my guess.

Thanks for all your help and encouragement. I'm really nervous but thankful that my insurance is so awesome!!

Congrats!! Its exciting getting approved, but if your anything like me the wait for the surgery is killing me (6 weeks). I'm ready just to start this journey already! Good luck

By chance do you have a link to the checklist for Tricare Prime? I was approved once and then the surgeon left so now I have to go OFFpost to a surgery center. SUCKS monkeynose but I am going to continue with it.

 That's fantastic. I also have Tricare Prime and I was wondering how fast the process goes. The husband is coming home from his deployment next month and has block leave until Aug. I'm really hoping to be able to get it done during block leave. He says he does too that way he will be able to take care of every thing lol
