Can't keep anything down

For th last 18 hours (since lunch yesterday), I haven't been able to keep almost anything down. Even sips of water make me almost-vomit. I will go to my surgeon later today if it continues, but I was hoping you guys could relieve my fears. Is it a blockage that must be fixed with surgery, or is there anything else it could be that doesn't require surgery??? Is this common? I'm so scared--I cannot afford another surgery! Please help if you know anything. Thanks!

The only thing I can say is get your self to the doctor/surgeon asap. Why wait until later?

Could be a stricture forming - easily fixed with a scope. Strictures are pretty common.  Call your surgeon and see if you can get in to see him.
