Will it happen for everyone?
I also meant to mention that I know several "lightweights" who have NOIT expericend this... but I suspect it is because they did not have as much padding on their rears to begin with, so there was not much difference when they lost the weight.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

I had tailbone pain for a while, as your body shifts and you have less padding on your butt it's a very good possibility you'll feel some pain. For how long is unknown. I don't have pain any more except when sitting on bleachers at the baseball games my son participates in.

I haven't had any, but then I never had it before I became SMO either. Don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I didn't gain weight until I was in my 30's and had my WLS when I was 45, so maybe my butt didn't get used to the extra padding enough to have problems when it left? Or, more likely, maybe my butt is STILL too fat, LOL! =)
Seriously though, most folks seem to have it, but not many have a huge issue. Although poor Lady Lithia did. If you want a REAL butt pain story, PM her. (But remember she is the exception rather than the rule).
Best of luck on your journey! =)
