Acne

Since surgery my face has been breaking out with acne, here or there, nothing major, but was wondering if this had happened to anyone else? I don't want to blame the surgery, but have to wonder if this is why. I have always had the most clear skin before. Not sure if it's just the changes I am going thru, stress with the surgery, just general stress...thanks everyone :)

Could be a change in hormone levels from the weight loss. Estrogen is stored in the fat cells.

I usually have clear skin too but since the surgery I've had small patches on my chin and here and there too. I thought it might be toxins released from losing weight. I just hope it does not escalate.

I HAVE ALWAYS HAD ACNE OVER THE YEAR. IT HAD IMPROVED SOMEWHAT. I NOTICED I WOULD HAVE THE BREAKOUTS ON MY CHIN WHEN I DRANK BEER. SO NATURALLY I AVOIDED BEER. HOWEVER SINCE MY SURGERY THE BREAKOUTS ON MY CHIN HAVE RETURNED AND I COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT PROBLEM WAS. THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME ANOTHER WAY TO LOOK AT IT. I BELIEVE YOU MAY BE ON TO SOMETHING.

Yep...I haven't broke out like this since late middle school early high school.  I hate it... I have very picky skin and can't use much for acne products, but I have been using dial soap because that's all I can tolerate and it's helping....slowly but surely.
