I am switching to vits in pill form (thank goodness!) and was wondering if I can take 2 of centrum silver at the same time or if I need to stagger them?

I would suggest to try to take one at a time and see how it feels. I had lapband and I have to cut my pills in half to take cuz I am afraid everything will get stuck.......

I stagger them only because too many in the pouch at once gives me gut-grind.

We cant absorb all those vitamins at once so they have to be spread out at least 4 hours apart.

Some people will tell you that you should spread them out, but neither my surgeon nor my PCP is aware of anything indicating that this is necessary.  I sometimes take them together but usually spread them out just because taking them together sometimes makes me feel a little queasy.

Can you use them as a multi.  We could not because they do not contain the necessary iron requirements.  However we were not placed on iron supplements.  My iron comes from my multi and food, and my levels are fine.  But we were told to spread the time of day when we took our multis.  What does your clinic/Nut say?

My Doc and NUT say they would rather me take the centrum silver without the iron b/c right now I am having constipation issues and my iron level is fine.  That may change in 3 mos.  If so I have a separate iron ready and waiting!
