Yes it is normal to be constipated. Call your doctor Monday and ask what you can take for instant relief.

yup totally normal I didn't go for a week after surgery and then i was very constipated for about 6 months.. in all honesty it was awful and at times made me regret the surgery but I was finally able to get in a lot more fluid and I started taking a probiotic and got back on track and now I don't have to take anything and I go daily again.. thank god!!  congrats on your surgery.. i think drinking is the most important thing thing, get in as much as you can.  good luck

yup its normal. I didnt go for like 13 days. I am 5 weeks out and feeling fine. I ended up waiting for it to come naturally but you may want to call your surgeons office and just ask what they suggest. But yes, its normal.
