Two (2) weeks post-op today...

Two weeks ago today I underwent surgery for the Roux-en-Y procedure...though today, judging from the outside, one would never know it...for all intents and purposes, I walk and am as active as I was prior to surgery...

Granted, my activity isn't as strenuous as it might otherwise be, but the only ones who would really notice that are my wife and me...

The recovery has been largely uneventful and for that I am most grateful...just waiting for the weight to begin to come off...I'll not weigh in again for me until Sunday morning, then we'll see if it has started...

No longer waiting for my real life to begin...

Weight at Heaviest: 320 lbs.
Weight at Surgery:
283.6 lbs.

Thanks for posting this.  I am having surgery in a few hours.  Hearing that you're doing as well as you are only two weeks out is very encouraging.
