Saturday - What are you eating / doing? (have eaten / done )
I got up a little before 6am, fed my animals, took my vites, drank some water, made a protein shake, spilled half my protein shake, drove the beach, participated in 5k (bettered my time from 50:06 to 46:20), drove across the bay to the next town, picked up friend's 145lb Great Dane puppy to stay the weekend with me, and now hating having a 145lb fruitcake dog on a rainy day!

L (6 1/2 hours later!!) P28, egg, ham, cheese; cottage cheese, strawberry
D - tilapia, cheese, onion, tomatoes
S - either SF ice cream or greek yogurt cheesecake
Edited - so I was hungry after my dinner, so I had half of a Quest naturals bar. I had one when they very first came out and it didn't agree with me. I tried again.... and the lemon is disgusting to me. And it is gritty. I want my originals, thank you very much!!

Slept in today! Woohoo!
Took my multi, went and grocery shopping with the children.
About to have a protein bar for brunch, put groceries away, and pack up a picnic lunch for myself, the kiddos, a girlfriend and her kiddos at the park. It's sunny and breezy and lovely today.
Picnic lunch will be sandwiches for the kids, lentil salad for me, deviled eggs, turkey and cheese rollups, and fresh fruit.
Oh, also? The scale has been STUCK at 206.4 for over 8 days. I'm PMSing and I know it's water, so yesterday, I drank probably a good quart of iced tea (followed by a full quart of water). This morning? 203.4! Woooooot. Don't worry, that won't become a habit, but I was getting so frustrated with all the bloat, and I don't want to risk my kidneys with OTC diuretics. A little bit of caffeine did the trick!

Getting ready for a big family birthday party tomorrow. Making smoked turkey in the outside smoker, but kids asked for gravy too. So that part of my dinner plans Two of my kids had a pizza sale fundraiser for marching band early today. So I made pancakes for the other two. Fiancee and I both had eggs with a side of will-power while the house smelled of pancakes. Now it smells like the two cakes in the oven, but the girls are gone shopping for my ten year olds craft/birthday with friends party. Baking doesn't bother me as much as my fiancee. I have a meat-tooth not a sweet-tooth..lol

L- chobani greek yogurt w/ peaches
D- turkey wings roasted in the oven and ?
S- coffee and more coffee maybe ginger almonds

Been doing yard work today. Got 10 leaf and lawn bags and bundles of branches for the city waste crew to pick up this week. After about four hours of solid rake, rake, rake, bend, bend, bend, tote, tote, tote...I called enough! Got cleaned up and am now going to the store for stuff (garden stuff and food) and go get my car washed.

My fav yoga practitioner is subbing tomorrow morning, so I'm getting up early and going to do some yoga...it'll be great because I'm sure I'll be able to stretch out some of the soreness from today's yard work activity. And finally, it's going to rain tomorrow, Monday, Tuesday and perhaps Wednesday. We need it so badly....I'm doing a rain dance for more than two or three inches.

1. Quest bar (which made me feel ucky for some reason. Maybe I am not a Quest bar for breakfast kinda person)
2. Cottage cheese, 1/2 banana and some granola (hella carby but it allowed me to run 5k at a 10 mile/minute pace so...whatevs)
3. A can of vienna sausages (the epitome of Frankenfood...hell, the ORIGINAL Frankenfood...why do I like them so much???) and 1/2 c. Edy's NSA chocolate ice cream
4. Probably some Swedish meatballs or something from Ikea
