One of my incisions feels a lttle hard underneath the skin. I am 2.5 weeks out is that normal?

I had one (the biggest, next to my belly button) that got hard under the skin. It was not HOT and not RED and I didn't have a FEVER and nothing OOZING so it was fine. If any of the above was true, I'd have called the surgeon

Could just be the suture you are feeling.

If it's reddened, bleeding, oozing, painful, or hot... check it out with your surgeon.

The incision on the left side (where the camera went in) had a hard lump under the skin for a while. It went away.

My doc said that was normal part of the healing process. I wouln't worry too much unless it was red, painful, or weeping. Mine all have that still and I am 6 weeks out this Wed

Yeah no signs of infection it is the one to the left the larger one...Just hadnt really noticed it till tonight.,.. Thanks for the feedback guys.

i was told that it was normal by several people.. i wouldnt worry about it.. i have a couple of sites that are hard too..

yea i wouldn't worry about that . i have the actual sutures coming out on my incisions when they are healing. i got pull on them and trim them with scissors .. my body hates foreign objects so its forcing the sutures out
