If that happens, it's probably because there are serious issues that need to be addressed before you can safely have surgery, and in that case, it would be good to be made aware of it. That's not likely to happen, though, unless you have an untreated mental illness or eating disorder, or have very unrealistic expectations of what surgery will do for you.
