Sip Sip Sip Walk Walk Walk! Those are words to live by. Try to get up the first night and walk around even if you don't feel like it. Pushing myself to move was the best thing I could have ever done.

You will do fine. Remember nobody dies on the table, you will be back with us soon. Don't worry the surgeons these days really know what they are doing, not like the old days. I had NO pain, no sickness and could have gone back to work the next day. Had gall bladder out as well at same time. See you here soon.

My magnesium citrate didn't kick in for like 2 hours!  I was shocked LOL.  Like the other people said - WALK WALK WALK, SIP SIP SIP!

Good luck tomorrow, you will do great!

Don't forget to take you "Before" picture with as little clothes as you can stand, front, back and side view, and if you can find a place(like a door) that you can continue to take pictures it will be great fun to see how you shrink.  Good luck.

mine didnt kick in right away either but if your feeling dizzy try a little apple juice or white grape juice its clear but its got sugar in it maybe your sugars a little low, just a suggestion. thats what i did because when i was just drinking water i felt like i was gonna puke. so good luck hope to hear from you soon and yes get up and walk your gas pressure will go away alot quicker if you do.

As hard as today might be, this will still be the best decision you could have made for yourself. I'm almost 11 yrs out and I still am thankful EVERY day I had this done. It's going to be hard at first but look beyond that to a 3 month goal, 6 month or even farther out. Come here for support and advice and good luck!

In addition to taking pictures, measure yourself. Even when you're not losing weight, you're losing inches. I wished I had done this, but didn't see the suggestion until I was about 4 months out. Also, don't forget to pack lip moisterizer, because you're going to need it in the hospital. Good luck with your surgery.
