What to eat at Denny's

I don't have kids, but my two nephews are here for the weekend.  I had to buy them food for the night and they asked me if they could go to Denny's tomorrow.  I know I can drink the water, but is there anything else I could eat there that won't make me dump.  I am currently on the puree stage.   I am also taking them to the movies, is there at the movies that I could eat or should I try to sneak in something that is healthy for me.   Any good ideas on what I can sneak in that would hold.

I eat at Denny's, but I'm on regular food. The only soup option that looked OK was the Chicken Noodle. You may need to cut the chicken into smaller bites.  Another option is to order a scrambled egg sprinkled with some cheddar cheese.

You're asking if they have pureed food at the movies?  Not at any theater I've ever been to!

I'm not sure if Denny's has any pureed options or not.  Do they have unsweetened applesauce?  Mashed potatoes?  Maybe they have oatmeal?

I would just stick to eggs at Denny's. as for the movies.... It sounds like you are pretty early out. So the answer would be nothing. When I was about 4 months out, I made a small little bag with a variety of nuts in it and snuck it in.

Denny's has cottage cheese. I would add diced tomato or some people like a little fruit mixed with theirs.

Scrambled egg w/cheese is a good call also.

I went to Denny's during the soft phase, but it would have worked during the purreed stage as well.  I asked for the equivalent of one egg in eggwhites (eggbeaters) with cheese on it.  It worked great.  I was eating scrambled eggs/egg beaters during the purreed stage, so this was just fine for me.

Since you are going with others, you probably wont be harrassed by the waiter, I went alone (I was traveling) so he kept asking if I wanted toast or oatmeal or anything else.  And when it took me so long to eat it, he was concerned it wasn't ok.  But it worked out great.
