Anyone out there have a "last meal" right before surgery?
I know that I am horrible but I am already thinking about what I am going to have for my "last meal". I do not have a surgery date yet but I know that I have to do a 2 week pre op liquid diet so I thought to myself...what am I going to eat right before I start my pre op die? So fess up. Is this abnormal or how many of you actually did the same thing? :)
I always said... "Yes, I'm fat. I do eat more than I should but I don't eat enough to weigh this much, however not gonna lie that I do love food. But I would give it all up to be healthy."
Yes and no. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat steak for quite some time, so hubby and I got steaks and we grilled them up. I had mine with mayo-horseradish dip. MMM Overall, not bad for you, but something I really wanted without ruining the weight loss I had already achieved.

My guide says I move to a regular diet on the 5th week (which is thursday! yay) He just advises to introduce things slowly. So, 7 weeks total including the two weeks voluntary diet I did preop only at least lol

Good luck with your surgery and pre op diet.
I had a last meal before surgery. Red Lobster all you can eat shrimp. When I think about it now it was kinda greasy. Anyway, I had planned to have chinese take out as my last meal but didn't trust myself having left overs in the fridge.
You are far from abnormal.
