I've always been a big fan of this post...so 6 months ago when it seemed to not be happening as much, I started using the forum less...So, I guess I'll post it when no one else does!

Today I teach a cardio class at the gym, have 2 school classes (this is my last semester of college, YAY!) and then homework and practicing Rosetta Stone Spanish. Should be a pretty laid-back day!

Foods:

Breakfast: Greek yogurt and blueberries

Lunch: Salad and Kung Pow Tofu

Snack: Kale and cottage cheese

Dinner: 3 Shrimp, and spaghetti squash with pasta sauce and buffalo meat

Have a great day, everybody!

B - 1/2 cup Kashi Go Lean High Protein mixed with Greek yogurt and two prunes

S - Isopure: Pineapple, Orange, Banana

L - Salad mix topped with 1/2 cup baby peas, 2 T Bolthouse Farms ranch dressing, chunky salsa and 1 oz. reduced-fat colby jack cheese

S - Isopure: Vanilla

D - I'm going to a business meeting this evening and they are serving teriyaki chicken, rice, tossed salad, veggies, dinner rolls and cookies.  I don't eat meat, and I'll already have all of my protein in for the day, so I will probably just eat the salad and maybe a few veggies.

No workout today, since I'm going to the dinner meeting, but I'll be back at it tomorrow!

Still waiting on this torn hamstring to heal so I can get back to my workouts!! I'm getting so antsy I may just have to try to modify some stuff.

Eats today are pretty basic. I'm in a "I don't really want anything" mood the last few days...

1) EAS shake

2) Earl Grey tea w/ half and half

3) 1/2 of a Wendy's chili (ate the other half last night) and some crackers

4) I have some celery and pimento cheese planned, but I'm not feeling it today. We'll see

5) probably going to thaw out some Brunswick Stew for supper or eat a homemade pizza pocket. Whatever my picky husband decides on.

Have a great day everybody!

Thank you, Mother Nature, for that two hour school delay this morning. I needed the extra rest.

I have decided I need to go back to eating a little something when I wake up then a mid-morning something. I was going until like 11 without eating! Studies show if you eat within an hour of waking (or take in some nutrition) your metabolism is improved throughout the day. I take it where I can get it, ya know?

1. Slice of whole wheat bread w/ peanut butter (ok, so the PB was justification but still)

2. The Clappe (Click + Fit Frappe together = TASTES LIKE A FUDGE BROWNIE!!!)

3. BBQ chicken thigh plus one of those Green Giant individual portions of brocolli/cheese (first time having that...I liked!)

4. The little diva is in charge of dinner tonight and says it's "make your own soft taco" night. So...ok. I only ever buy low carb tortillas & lean ground turkey so it's all good!

5. Either a) a fudge pop [this would be the best choice], a slice of protein cheesecake OR my last NSA Klondike bar (decisions, decisions...)

I am sick, had a cold thing, but have pressure in my ears and it is killing me. I don't ever stay sick long and heal like a vampire. So when I am sick I am like all out of sorts. I have lost 4 pounds in the last 4 days but I am sure some of that is being dehydrated. So getting liquids is a must today. Also need to get back to the gym, but dizzy and treadmills + my back injury are a not starter. Maybe in a day or two.

B- Bit of oatmeal with apple and banana

L- venison stew I made

D- kids are having biscuits and sausage gravy Think I will have an egg or two

S- Lots to drink and coffee
