Hi! I saw in a post of yours the other day that you easily get in 100 g. of protein and don't eat any meat. Im just 8 1/2 weeks out but am looking for protein sources (meatless) other than greek yogurt. Do you mind sharing some suggestions? My protein right now is mostly from whey isolate drinks. Thanks so much!

I just checked out your blog, wow!  Thanks so much for directing me to it.  Your discipline and no-nonsense approach to your eating and living plan is really, really inspirational to me right now.  I am going to try your last protein shake receipe tomorrow morning!  My only question - what is PB2?  That's not something I've hard of before.  Thank you again!

PB2 is de-fatted peanuts that become peanut butter: http://www.bellplantation.com/

  P. S. You can buy it for a better price here: http://www.amazon.com/

Beans, cheese, veggie burgers, other meat substitute products (Morningstar Farms makes fake chicken, bacon, etc. all from soy), and protein bars and my main sources of protein, other than Greek yogurt and protein shakes (I don't use shakes every day).  Cottage cheese and tofu are also good sources of protein, but I don't care for those very  much.

Thanks Kelly!  As always, you are a huge help - thanks so much for your time and willingness to help on here.  I wasn't aware of the Morningstar Farms fake chicken - thats definitely something I'll try.

Since this thread was directed at poet_Kelly I'd like to add something as well. I've been coming to this forum for a few months now and you consistently give great advice served up with compassion and patience. I've seen you answer the same question 1000 (ok it feels like that many!) times and never act like its a stupid question. I don't know how you are in other areas of your life but if you are the same person that you show on this forum you're a credit mark in the human column.

So thanks from me as you've helped me over the beginning uncertainties.
