I weigh every single day ... first thing in the morning after voiding ... the scale is an awesome tool ... as well as tracking and journaling and using a measuring tape for body measurements and even height ... I weigh daily ... I take my measurements maybe once a month or bi-monthly or when I am about to sew myself a new outfit with fabric that is different from my norm... My dearest husband who is not a weight loss surgery patient and is 9 years post kidney transplant weighs daily too ...

I weigh daily except when i have been out of town. I just don't let it bother me if it goes up a few ounces. I know I am eating properly so I know in a day or 2 it and a little more will be gone.

I weigh every single morning but I don't let the scale determine my mood.  I do it to keep on track because I have had a tendency to keep my head in the sand in the past.  It works for me but it might not work for you.

This is a question that is always on my mind. After seeing post after post about stalls, I decided not to weigh myself unless I was at my docs office. From months 2-4 I lost 54 lbs and while happy I was losing, I felt I could be doing better. So I regrouped and am now weighing once every two weeks on a scale that is within a pound of my docs office. I like every two weeks thus far as it allows me to stay focused and make changes if I need to...

My doctor asks you to weigh daily, same time/same scale, while on the liquid diet and the first 28 days post-op. After that, I will be weighing myself every Monday, since that was my surgery day.

My husband is 7 1/2 months post-op and he loves waiting a whole week to see his progress.
