Really? Two and a half weeks post op and I just found more adhesive on my thigh. What was stuck there, anyway?

If your incisions were glued shut it may just have been a drip of the surgical glue that they didn't clean up.

It may have been from the cardiac monitor leads that they put on during the surgery to monitor your heart.  That adhesive lasts forever.

If you had a Urine Foley catheter it was probably from a securing device that sticks to your thigh.

That would make sense!

This is what I had. I would agree with this as being a likely cause.

OH YEAH! I forgot that they pulled something off my leg. I need to pick this stuff off before it confuses me again.

You never discovered it in the shower in two and a half weeks? And it did not feel sticky or anything odd?

No, I remember seeing it before. It never felt any different. I did pick a lot of it off. I just forgot about it and it showed up again. I never thought about when they took the catheter out. This was my first experience with surgery and I've been marveling about how well I'm doing that I forget about little things.
