I posted about a week ago about my having seven years clean and sober and after having this surgery turning back to alcohol..  Then a couple weeks ago I had a full fledge relapse of cocaine, heroine and marijuana and tried to kill myself when my husband threatened to leave me.  I just wanted to thank everyone for their words of encouragement and prayers, and to let you know they are working.  I have two weeks clean and sober today, have been going to therapy and AA meetings daily.  Your words meant so much to me and gave me the push I needed to continue on this road to recovery.  And to those of you *****ad and didn't respond but gave me prayers I thank you also.  I never knew what a life safer this board would be to me and wanted to express my gratitude.

Congrats Megan for taking the bull by the horns (so to speak).  Keep up the awesome work you are doing to be healthy.  One day at a time, one minute if necessary you are strong and you CAN do this.

I can't even imagine the level of difficulty you face in tackling your demons.  Much respect to you for putting it out there and asking for help.  Every minute, every hour, every day you succeed is a victory indeed.  Wishing you the best in your continued success!

You can do it, I did 40 years sober for me, but I had to change my life all around to do it. Not easy, but can be done. Good luck
