Isn't this site supposed to be supportive??

The OP said "Maybe before you post something, sit back and think of where you were are their stage of the journey?"

To me, that sure sounds like it is directed at one or more vets.

Hhhmmm I really didn't take it like that, but can see how if I were a "bet" I might have. I guess we all have sensitivities. I really didn't see the OP as trying to be mean at all though (not that anyone is accusing that either)

I am just curious as to what you would call the post of the OP and the post  below hers if not mean spirited?    we have all told you how we feel she was coming off, how do you perceive this post?

I truly didn't see the OP as mean spirited at all. Okay the middle aged response wasn't "helpful" as I put it before, but I think it was just an emotional and frustrated response as a lot of these have been. You have to admit, some responses to posts are just straight forward and some can read as snippy (even if not meant that way at all). I think when you are new you just have to get used to all the different personalities....now that could just be MY hormones talking...lol

Yes, we do all have our sensitivities, and I have to admit that since we DID just go through one of these, this one is more tiresome than it would have otherwise been for me.  I didn't take the OP's message to be mean at all, just wearisome.  I am actually far more annoyed by a couple of the people who "piled on" and said some pretty negative things.

If you find it tiresome, just ignore it, you do not need to reply. This is getting way out of hand. Come on people. Stop the arguing

You, too, of course, have the option to ignore THIS thread if you find it frustrating, tiring, annoying, whatever.

Oh its not bothering me in the least. Its actually very comical to read, and how supposedly adults act. The op just made a simple question and its proving her point.

Ok y'all.... I think my "good intention" has been blown way out of proportion... I NEVER said the word bully, never mentioned "vets" or even said people were mean... I was just saying I thought someone got an overly harsh post & we could all use a bit of kindness. I had NO IDEA it would come to this... I'm down with tough love, appreciate the vets that get asked the same questions over & over & still post. That wasn't the purpose of my post... I didn't intend to stir drama & if you retread my initial post, that should be evident. Next time, I'll let the "kids work out their own problems" and keep my 2 cents to myself. I just believe even tough love can still hold kindness.
