What's on the menu today, RNY-ers?
Hi OH friends!
I'm posting a bit late today since I spent half of it traveling west to east. I left 80 degrees in LA and now it's 30 in DC. Ugh!
Curious to see what you all ate today :)
Time since surgery: 4 weeks 5 fays
B: Premier protein shake (vanilla-30 g of protein!)
L: some chicken and cheese from the inside of a wrap I bought at the airport. I ate too fast perhaps, because I felt very full and sick-so I ran to the bathroom and had my first (and hopefully last) attack of "the foamies". I knew about them from this site! I thought I may throw up but I just basically coughed up phlegm and foam. Felt instantly better. Weird and scary, though!
D: I ate a little more of the wrap insides on the plane
S: None
As far as I can tell, I've had 580 calories and 78 g of protein. I'm kind of hungry now but don't want to eat at midnight so I will just go to bed soon :)
Im also charging my new FitBit One! I linked it to MFP and I can't wait to track!
On track for liquids and vitamins. Only exercise was walking through two airports :(
B - boca veggie burger patty with yellow mustard
L - spinach salad with 3 oz grilled salmon and balsamic vinegar
S - Quest protein bar
D - 3 oz beef jerky
S - Another Quest protein bar
Lots of water, tho and all my vitamins.
2.5 mile walk and weight lifting
Going to buy a cooked roast chicken or turkey breast to eat over the weekend.
Total Calories - 894 (way too many). Total Protein - 107
11 months for me! Besides getting in all my water and vitamins here's my day
Breakfast - 10 oz Vanilla chike protein shake with added peanut butter powder and chia seeds
Lunch - 2 oz of baked chicken and 1/4 quest bar
Snack - 1/3 of a small apple and 1 teaspoon of cashew butter (yum)
Dinner - 2 oz mahi mahi tuna (scrumptious) and a small dab of baked kale with balsalmic vinegar
I feel like I'm eating all day but when I write it out it's not so much. And I feel SO full all the time, must be all those vitamins and water I take between meals! :) My workout today was 30 min run on treadmill, 45 min spinning class and 30 min on free weights at the gym,
