Choosing RNY over VSG

All the research I have seen has found the weight loss between VSG and RNY to be comparable on average. RNY eeks out a slight advantage of 5-10%, which may not sound like much, but when you have 200+ or 300+ pounds to lose it's a difference of 20 - 30 pounds.

VSG wasn't available when I had my origional surgery but a restriction only procedure, I wouldnt have considered it FOR ME . I know people who have had success with it but with all the additional benefits of the RNy, that answered my question.
