NSV!
So this week we've had tons of professional development, which for us means we get into different groups and committees and work after school. We go to someone's classroom, make a circle with the desks, and work as a group.
Well, I haven't truly fit into a desk in over 20 years. As an undergrad, I loved it when the classes had tables, not so much with the traditional desks. Same thing as a teacher. I could squeeze in, but it wasn't comfortable, and I was pretty sore by the time we ended a couple of hours later.
Well, with our group yesterday, I slid into a desk, started talking, and about 15 minutes into it I realized that I wasn't sore. I looked down, and my belly didn't even touch the desk! Sitting in meetings for hours is still painful, but at least the desks aren't anymore!

Nice! I love not worrying whether I will fit in chairs.

That's a sweet NSV! I remember all the anxiety I used to feel going into classes and basically shoving myself between the seat and desk for fear I wouldn't fit ... and then what? Congratulations!
OMG that is a GREAT one! I have the same issue. Most of my classes are either at tables or in the computer lab...but the couple classes I had in those TORTURE tables (tiny desks attached to the chairs) I was the same way. slid in, fit, but SUPER uncomfortable. I always felt embaressed too like some girls would be sitting in these desks with their legs crossed or their knee up with their foot on the seat and I just was praying the class would end so i could suck in and squeeze myself out of that horrible chair. I haven't tried to sit in another one since my surgery but hearing your NSV has got me excited to try! Congratulations on your HUGE NSV! I can imagine how you must feel!!
