I clicked like... then I realized that I didn't want you to think I was applauding your trip in the bathroom (although mine was similar last night, just for different reasons)...

I'd like to ride on the sailboat... But I'd be of NO help to you while you trim the sand teak, read the sails, and sand the maps... But I'd be there to throw you the life preserver if you fell off, and give you a drink when you get thirsty

I wasn't "liking" the sick part, either - it was for the other stuff (living in Puerto Rico, knowing how to sail, etc).  So sorry you were sick - that sounds miserable!!

Don't be shy... come on... have you ever tried to tie a cherry stem in your mouth?

My question as I read the number of you that can do this is - How do you even know that you can??? lol

But I'm going to give it a shot too.

RNY Jan 12, 2017 Lost 137 lbs but regained 60.

77 lbs lost and counting!

Losing the regain! I got this!

OK, so... truth.

My dad taught me how to do it when I was little... he was always doing it when we'd go out to eat and they'd bring me a Shirley Temple... but I think my dad was pulling a 'bad dad' moment with me (and he probably would have played Cards Against Humanity with me when I was too young too LOL)...

In bars, it's kind of a sexual thing... like if you can use your tongue to tie a cherry stem... then...

And that's all I'm saying on the matter.

Hi Everyone!  Long time no post on this daily thread.  I really need to post regularly again, especially going into the holidays.

I have had a very stressful November and early December!  And also an injury to my foot (my "good foot"--the other leg has the chronic Achilles injury).  Stress will always be with me, I acknowledge, especially with some significant, pervasive, long-term family issues.  How I wish I did not have to live with those family issues!  But I do, and I always will, and it is the hardest work I have ever done.  And so I also have to work on managing the stress each day--and NOT eating it.

QOTD:  When I was in college, I shook hands with Margaret Thatcher.  Also, I can snap my toes like fingers.  And, BTW, it turns out that my hypermobile toes are a big cause of all my foot and Achilles injury issues.  At least, that is the going theory.  So, I am not too happy with my toe snapping abilities right now.

My plan for today.

First, NOT plan:  I have already eaten a 1.5" square brownie. That is what motivated me to post.  I must be more mindful, every day, every hour.

B: Scrambled egg with 1/2 oz cheddar.  1/5 slice of bread.

L:  Taco meat with cheese and 4 blue corn chips crumbled in

D:  Chicken and brocolli with curry sauce

(S1) Baked parmesan crisps.

(S2) if I want something sweet in the evening, cashew bites (quantity 6)

Drinking, as usual, about 5 cups of herb tea and a quart of my Crio Bru, with about a cup of unsweetened soy as a creamer in that quart of Crio.

Goals:  (1) Sit down to eat, to avoid grazing.  (2) Post daily on this thread, no matter how awful I think my eating is.  (3) Record eating in MFP.  (4) Consider/plan how to have regular exercise in spite of long-term injuries.  I miss that exercise so much.  (5) Find joy in something.

Thanks everyone!  I will have to read other posts later this evening.
