Hi all! Run is done, so is breakfast. Need to shower and dress. No plans today.

Qotd: I'm a stoic sick. I also take very little in terms of OTC meds. I'm a tough it out type... I feel OTC meds just mask the symptoms. Rest is my absolute must when I'm sick- I refuse to rip, roar and run-- the body needs time to heal.

200 today, 2.6 Years.

M1: 1 egg, 3 slices turkey bacon, 1/2 waffle

m2: 2 Chicken meatloaf muffins

m3: pulled pork,

m4: roast chicken

Good morning menu friends -

Week one of my first two busy weeks done. I will be so happy when next week is over. Only 84 more hours to go...lol.

QOTD: I handle most pain pretty well, but having a cold makes me a whiny baby.

Accountability: The last week wasn't the best week for me. I was alot higher on carbs than normal. I did leave the cappuccino alone this week after I said I was going to stop. But I did have flavored lattes, they have less carbs than the cappuccino, but still too many, so no lattes for me this week. All the food I ate was on plan, it was the lattes that derailed me.

Weeks averages:

Calories - 722, Protein - 85, Carbs - 47.

As a result of my poor choices my scale is moving very very slowly. Because I work 7 days straight I know I will stick to plan all week. I will probably not have time to post at until Friday morning, so I will post my averages again then from today until Thursday.

Have a great week everyone. I'm heading to bed for a short nap, then will get up clean house, pack lunches for a few days and go to bed early to start my week. I will work days Monday thru Thursday, and then switch to nights from Friday to Sunday.

Tammy

I used to work nights and I always struggled with the shift in sleep schedule. I'm glad that I don't have to do it any more.

Good morning everyone! It was a wonderful lazy Saturday and now a wonderful a lazy Sunday. Making beef jerky today, can't wait. I love how it makes the whole house smell amazing.

QOTD - I am a pretty tough sick person. Growing up my mom had no patience for whining and would never make a fuss so I was never babied. As an adult I was a single mom and had no time to be sick! Now, I may complain from time to time, but I'm pretty stoic about being sick and pain in general. Rob and my son? every-single-ache-pain-symptom-whiny-ugh.

Accountability - there were potatoes - many many potatoes. So 2 days in a row with the carbs... Today is a new day and will be full of nothing but protein!

11mo post op

b-coffee w/hc x2

l-hot wings w/blue cheese dressing - both homemade, mmmm

Posting late after church and after admin council which ran on forever. My sugar was way low by rhe time I got lunch so now I feel a bit miserable. Lily and I loved it at least being daylight for our walk today. Makes it much easier to get moving for sure. QOTD having had rheumatoid arthritis has made me deal a lot with pain so I have a very high tolerance. Accountability was good even though I wanted to eat all the treats here I didn't stray from my plan. Drank and knitted instead. When finished here I'll pack up the camper as we decided to go to the nearby state park in a bit. Post op 5 years 2 months and weight at 118 today. Heres the food plan for maintenance B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz roast beef 1/2 c carrots S 5 oz greek yogurt with 1 T granola for crunch. Have a great day everyone and make good conscious choices that move you toward your goals!

Hello everyone,

I was up early with the time change but it was good because I have been able to get a lot done today.

QOTD: I handle pain really well but being sick is another story. I am the biggest baby!

Accountability: I did really well considering we celebrated my father's 76th birthday and we went an Italian restaurant where they served everything family style. They served braciole(stuffed and rolled flattened beef), salad, baked ziti, fried calamari and chicken parmesan then carrot cake! I ate just the beef from the braciole(no stuffing) and a little salad. The one bad thing I did have was 2 pieces of the fried calamari but I took off the breaded coating.

B:2 eggs, turkey breakfast sausage, slice of cheese

L: 3 oz turkey breast

D: 2oz chicken italian sausage, 2 oz grilled rib eye steak, 1/3C broccoli rabe

S:ostrim meat stick

Cals:617, Carbs:7, Cals:83

Enjoy the rest of your evening everybody!
