Blood pressure

Good afternoon,

Today I felt dizziness and my blood pressure was equal to 9 x 6. I had lunch normally. I wonder if anyone else has symptoms of hypotension after 1 year of bypass and is there any way to avoid them?

Do you take any medication for blood pressure? You might need to have it adjusted.

I have to make sure I don't get up too quickly and cannot squat for very long without feeling dizzy. I have almost passed out so I try and be very careful.

When I started having it, they said to get 100oz fluid per day. When I do that, no dizziness; when I don't get that in for a few days, they come back. Give it a try (and talk to your doctor as well)

Like Jen said,if I don't get at least 100 ounces of fluids in a day I have episodes of dizziness too.

My dr told me to increase my salt and fluid intake.
