G'morning menu family,

JB -love the coloring of Lingo, so very cute!

The weekend is here and it's weird not having the kids. I'm not saying our life revolves around the kids but in the planning we always check with DS. What do you do? When will you be out? Do you wanna come with us? If we plan such and such would you come? Do you wanna bring friends? But this weekend is just us. I gotta get used to this empty nest thing.

Today is a self care day. Hair and facial. I love my facial lady. I've been going to her since my wedding, like clock work every 6 weeks.

QOTD: I can't think of anybody. My hairdresser is all drama, but I guess that's part of the job, maybe she exaggerates for entertainment of clients. I feel like her family and all the drama can go on one of those family feud shows.

My meals for the day:

  • Coffee, coffee, and more coffee
  • Egg salad
  • Chicken fajita
  • Yogurt or parm cheese

My pics are from "my" beach, in front of our house the view from the cliff. I love love love where we live.

But to give a dose of reality here is the second pic. We have sharks in the water but the locals take it with a grain of salt. And I love their attitude. I saw a post saying we have sharks in the water and coyotes in the woods, deal with it. That's why we live where we live. As close to nature as we can. Loved it.

I am obsessed with the ocean and I can't imagine being more than a few minutes away. I am so jealous that you have it outside the door! But here in MA I think the Noreasters are just too intense and, sadly, living oceanside is not smart unless you have some serious insurance.

My husband is like you. Fish out of water if he lives more than 10 mins from the ocean!

We live across the street from this cliff. There is a huge resort right on the cliff, but when they were building it the county made sure they also built public access to the beach. So we get all the amenities of beach access without the upkeep!
