Good Morning and happy Friday-eve! I hope you get your hammock time today. Although our high temps will be in upper 90s we still have bad air quality and the sky is a brownish haze so no outside time for me. I can't imagine having to navigate with all education staff and their concerns for their own well being, what is best for the kids... the list is endless.

Accountability: It was pretty balanced.

QOTD: I think I'd go for M&Ms or PB Twix or something mint like a York peppermint patty or Andes mint.... my list could go on! KitKat used to be a fav and in fact I have one for John and Em to try in the fridge right now, apple pie?!?!?

TSS: 6 years

B: SF latte, Quaker protein/fiber oatmeal and turkey sausage

L: Albacore tuna lettuce wraps, SF Jello with cool-whip and baby carrots

S: Turkey wrap, and Carbmaster cottage cheese

D: Emie pie egg salad sandwich, quest chips, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark chocolate

ES: low carb pita with SF jelly and cream cheese, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and ¼ cup fiber cereal

E: 6 mile treadmill run and one hour elliptical

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1668 Protein:166 Carbs:150 Fat:58

Have a great one!

TLDR or have no idea what I'm talking about: I had a torn labrum repair in my hip and they shaved the bone that was impinging my hip in order to make so the tearing doesn't happen again (hopefully).

Morning! I have my hip surgery on Tuesday and I'm just finally crawling out of the abyss that is always anesthesia for me. They kept me overnight one night and I'm glad they did because I'm not super great on crutches. In general I'm fairing well though and haven't taken any oral narcotics yet at all - Just Tylenol and muscle relaxers at night to sleep. I start PT on Monday. I'll be non-weight bearing for 2 weeks and then progressive weight bearing from there until off crutches. Then I turn around and do it all over on December 1st for my 2nd hip.

QOTD: Normally a York Peppermint Patty - I love the texture. I also love Peanut or Peanut Butter M&M's and Reese's in holiday shape form.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x3
  • No idea for lunch, whatever I can get someone to bring to me
  • Leftover pasta bake that our neighbor dropped by last night. I can't eat much right now anyway, blech.

Sounds like you're doing well, I'm so glad to hear that! I haven't had a york peppermint patty in years, and now I kinda want one.

Good morning! I would totally take some of your work for you JB! We've hit such a slow period here at work, and while I have stuff, I don't have STUFF!! The days are dragging by this week. We'll see what today brings. I was dreaming all night today was Friday, and almost got up and put my jeans on. One more day..I can make it.

QOTD Definitely Butterfingers for me. Second would be a frozen Snickers or a Milky Way bar. My husband eats sweets all the time, Reese's in the fridge, fancy chocolates for with an evening coffee in the cabinet, ice cream in the freezer and I'm fine with all that. But a Butterfinger in the house would be disastrous.

Menu:

B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake, maybe HB egg and light string cheese later

L: egg "muffin" and piece of bacon

D: left over tri tip (this should fini**** off!!) and a small salad

S: if needed beef jerky or Whisps.

Peace Everyone!
